ABOUT MARGE’S

Since 1966, Marge’s has been the neighborhood spot to catch the game, meet your friends, and argue about calls the refs obviously got wrong.

We’re a sports dive bar in the best sense of the word: cold beer, honest pours, a proper grill, and zero pretense. Belly up for a burger or a dog, settle in for the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, or Pistons, and enjoy the kind of bar that feels like it’s always been here — because it has.

Marge’s was named after its original owner, Marguerite “Marge” DePuys, and for decades it’s been woven into the fabric of the Grosse Pointes. It’s the place people stop after a game, celebrate with friends, or come in because they know they’ll see a familiar face.
